Ardento is a strategic communications management company founded in 2020 in Zagreb. Let's explain our name right away: Ardento is inspired by the Latin verb 'ardere', which means to burn, to emit flames, or the adjective 'ardent', which means fiery, hot, brilliant and passionate. All of these words perfectly describe our approach to work and communications, and we don't shy away from the connection with the name of our founder and director...

And he is Plamenko Cvitić, a prominent Croatian journalist, editor and media expert with a rich career in various media, with an emphasis on investigative journalism, politics and business. He spent most of his professional career in the leading Croatian weekly "Nacional" as a journalist and editor, then as editor-in-chief of the business daily "Business.hr", and in recent years he has occasionally written for the daily "Večernji list" and the internet portal "Index.hr". In addition to more than 25 years of work in the media, he has also gained 12 years of experience in communication management, specializing in communicating demanding strategic projects, crisis communication and strategic development.

Ardento is based on this. We are fully dedicated to more demanding communication services: corporate communication, crisis management, reputation management and strategic support for business development. We provide services to clients who need a larger and more operational scope of activities through our older sister company Intonacija, which deals with digital media, IT projects and visual communications.

As former journalists, we know very well how the media and journalists work. We know what a story needs to be to interest journalists and editors and get into the media. We know what journalists like and don't like. We know how to work with journalists in a partnership and with respect, how to avoid or mitigate a crisis situation, and how to build, maintain and preserve the desired reputation in the public.
